FIFA 20 Players Take A Stand Against EA By Protesting Outside Of Publisher's Headquarters
FIFA 20 players organised a protest outside of the EA headquarters in Bucharest to send a statement to the publisher over issues in the latest title.
A Reddit user shared the story online as a small number of players took issue with pack luck in the popular Ultimate Team mode, button delay and scripting.
And fans are furious with how the odds are balanced in packs, effectively making it more difficult for players to receive rare Ultimate Team cards.
The Reddit post has amassed over 3,500 upvotes at the time of this writing, but the protest in Romania has been met with a mixed reception from fans.

User RPRHUNT supported the cause and wrote: "I wish I could join them, its [sic] so frustrating having no one to complain to besides the community."
While alexharvey04 argued: "Realistically tho all that's gonna happen is [they're] gonna have a nice laugh upstairs while calculating how much money there gonna make tomorrow."
A third user echoed the aforementioned comment: "With all of the s**t going [on] in the world, they protest for this. And I imagine few hours later after this protest they are gonna go home and play WL. Stop playing the game, stop wasting money at FP. That is [a] real protest."
And user newme posted: "People can take the p**s all they want but these guys saw something they thought was unjust and made a stand. I respect that."
EA Sports has been heavily criticised for the microtransactions introduced to the FIFA franchise and faced backlash from fans before.
The UK Gambling Commission has ruled out FIFA Ultimate Team packs and loot boxes as gambling, but EA has faced issues in other countries.
Belgium has already taken action against loot boxes and declared them illegal, eliminating the sale of FIFA's in-game currency in the country.
And Republican Senator Josh Hawley has called for the US to ban the use of loot boxes in titles.
"When a game is designed for kids, game developers shouldn't be allowed to monetise addiction," he told the BBC in May.
FIFA 20 is now available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC.
