This season United's third kit was mocked and met with bafflement, as no one could quite work out why their zebra stripes go in different directions.
That won't be the case next season, certainly not for fans of the club, with the return of the famous blue and white patterned design from the early 90s.
Sir Alex Ferguson's team wore a similar kit in the 1991/92 season, before the Premier League started, as they won the League Cup.

In an interesting quirk to United's season, fans might actually be able to buy two versions of the new kit, with the second one in December.
The Premier League side's shirt sponsorship deal with American car manufacturer Chevrolet was supposed to end this summer.
However the club actually extended the deal by six months to the end of 2021. With the club reportedly in talks over a new deal with a new company it will mean two sponsorship deals in the season and so two shirts.
United will be hoping to be wearing the kit in the Champions League next season, and recent form suggests they will make it into the top four.
The win over West Ham United last weekend keeps them nine points above the Hammers in fifth place, with just nine games left of the season.
Solskjaer, his team and the fans will also be hoping they don't have to watch rivals Manchester City run away with the European title this season.
According to the stats, City are the most likely team to win the competition in Turkey this May, and Pep Guardiola's side are still on to go one better than Fergie's Treble and win the Quadruple!
