Jose Mourinho has already been linked with a Premier League return just one day after he was sacked by Fenerbahce.
Mourinho, 62, was sacked by the Istanbul club two days after they were eliminated from the Champions League play-offs by Portuguese side Benfica.
The 62-year-old spent just over a year as head coach of Fenerbahce but failed to secure a title during his reign, finishing second in the Super Lig behind city rivals Galatasaray in 2024/25.
In typical Mourinho fashion, during his time in Turkey, he had several outbursts at the standards of refereeing. The three-time Premier League-winning coach also reportedly had several disagreements with Fenerbahce’s hierarchy over transfers.

Instead of ending an 11-year wait for a league title, Mourinho failed to win a single trophy or ‘Intercontinental Derby’ fixture during his time in Turkey.
The club released a statement confirming the news on Thursday.
"We have parted ways with Jose Mourinho," read the statement.

"We thank him for his efforts for our team and wish him success in his future career."
So, what next for the self-proclaimed ‘Special One’?
Well, Fenerbahce were Mourinho’s tenth club, having previously managed Chelsea, Manchester United and Spurs in the Premier League, AS Roma and Inter in Serie A, Real Madrid in La Liga and Benfica, União Desportiva de Leiria, and Porto in Liga Portugal.
Since his exit from Fenerbahce, the 62-year-old has been linked with a return to Man United, given the current pressure on head coach Ruben Amorim.

But he is way down the list of favourites to become the next permanent United manager behind the likes of Oliver Glasner and Gareth Southgate, just to name a few.
However, according to Sky Bet, a potential move to West Ham United returns short odds of 15/8 as, like with Amorim, pressure continues to mount on Hammers head coach Graham Potter.
Potter, 50, has won six, drawn five and lost 12 of the 23 games he has taken charge of since joining West Ham last winter.
