Clubs including Manchester United have learned who they will face in the second round of the 2025/26 Carabao Cup.
The first round of fixtures took place on Tuesday and Wednesday of this week, with several Championship sides such as Wrexham, Preston North End, and Bristol City progressing after wins.
Of course, the second round is traditionally when Premier League teams without European commitments enter the competition.
Everton, Leeds United, and notable Man United will all take part in the second round of competition, while holders Newcastle United will sit out until the third round.

Man United last competed in round two back in 2014, they fell to a shock 4-0 defeat against MK Dons 11 years ago.
On that occasion, Will Grigg was certainly on fire as he netted a brace while former Arsenal academy product Benik Afobe also scored twice.

The Carabao Cup remains regionalised in the early rounds, with the draw split into a southern and northern section until the third round.
