'Every Idiot Brit Abroad After A Few Beers': Tyson Fury's Brutally-Honest Response To Viral Taxi Video

A video was circulating on social media a few months back showing Fury kicking out at a taxi after he was denied a ride.

Tyson Fury has opened up on the viral video of him kicking a taxi while away on holiday, admitting he was just acting like "every idiot Brit abroad" after a few too many beers.

The world heavyweight champion celebrated his knockout victory over Dillian Whyte back in April by taking a trip to France with his friends and family.

And after a rather large day on the sauce, Fury was reportedly refused to be taken home by a taxi driver.

In a clip posted on social media, the 6-foot-9-inch man mountain can be seen lashing out by kicking the taxi as it sped down the road.

The video itself racked up quite a few views, but Fury wasn't going to let it dampen his celebrations and decided not to comment on it at the time.

Now, a few months on, the 'Gypsy King' has finally addressed it in perhaps the most British way possible.

"I've been enjoying my life, have a few beers, kick a couple of taxis, I'm sure we've all seen that," Fury told Frank Warren's Queensberry Promotions.

"I've enjoyed myself, I've been abroad and acted like a proper idiot abroad as we all do.

"I've been back in Morecambe Bay and I've been to Miami doing things and stuff so I'm very happy, but I'm working every day to keep myself busy.

"Every idiot Brit abroad with a few beers in them, that's what we do. Who here has never been on holiday, got p***ed up and acted a real mug? Everyone I know's done it. I'm not some programmed robot that gets told what to say and what to do.

"I'm as real as waking up in the morning, having your breakfast and putting your shoes on. There's no scripted scenes here. I'm sure it won't be the last time, it wasn't the first time."

The 33-year-old also revealed that he's backflipping on his initial plans to retire.

"We have some very exciting news coming," Fury added.

"I think the world has been waiting for a plan of action. Last week we had a nice Italian down in London and a long conversation about lots of stuff.

"I will be back in the ring 100 per cent, just like in the movie when Jerry Maguire shouted, ‘Show Me The Money!’.

"If anyone can show me the money then it’s Frank Warren, I call him the Magic Man and we are going to make some big, big things happen."
