A Newcastle United fan group sent a clear and powerful message to manager Steve Bruce following the club's 3-0 defeat against Brighton on Saturday night.

It was another disappointing result for The Magpies as they continue to hover dangerously above the relegation zone.

Ahead of last night's Premier League clash at The Amex stadium, Bruce himself billed the game as a must-win fixture but ultimately, his side gave a lacklustre performance (and that's being kind) against their relegation rivals.

Brighton striker Leandro Trossard opened the scoring before goals from Danny Welbeck and Neal Maupay sealed Newcastle's fate.

The club currently sit just two points ahead of 18th place Fulham in the Premier League ladder and, despite having a game in hand over Scott Parker's side, many supporters have had enough.

Indeed one fan group, Wor Flags, decided to display a number of banners in front of St James Park following their 3-0 defeat.

One of the flags read "COWARD" while another said "'YOU ARE NOT ONE OF US - LEAVE NOW'.

In the wake of their latest defeat, many Newcastle fans voiced their displeasure at Saturday's dismal performance on social media as Steve Bruce's future at the club continues to be questioned.

Do they need to replace him sooner rather than later? Or should they put their faith in the 60-year-old?
