Bayer Leverkusen attacking midfielder Florian Wirtz is edging towards a move to Liverpool and he has already revealed the characteristic that's leading him to England.
Liverpool are expected to sign the 22-year-old after respected football correspondent David Ornstein broke the news that Bayern Munich are not confident that they'll beat the Reds to his signature.
It was reported this week that Wirtz has been looking at houses in the north-west of England in anticipation of a move.

"Liverpool given huge boost in Florian Wirtz pursuit – Bayern Munich believe 22yo on course for Anfield move if he leaves Bayer Leverkusen this summer," Ornstein posted on X, formerly Twitter.
"Clubs would still need to agree deal – not a formality – but Germany international favours [Liverpool]."
Paul Joyce of The Times has since reported that such an agreement could be in motion: "Liverpool have now formally spoken to Bayer Leverkusen over their desire to sign Florian Wirtz."
If Bayern's concession proves accurate, ambition and adventure will be Wirtz's motivations.

The young midfield star spoke to Sports Illustrated in Germany in March and discussed his aversion to his comfort zone.
"I'm quite lucky to have so many excellent clubs right on my doorstep and to now be able to play for one of the best clubs in Germany and Europe," said Wirtz.
"I have great respect for the guys here in Leverkusen, who come from South America or Africa, for example, and leave their families and surroundings behind for their careers.
"I'm definitely keen to leave my comfort zone at some point and experience something new.

"I know the football changing rooms well enough and am convinced that I would quickly find a place anywhere."

Wirtz has emerged as one of the hottest prospects in world football under the guidance of former Liverpool midfielder Xabi Alonso.
He played a part in Leverkusen's historic unbeaten Bundesliga season and double win in 2023-24 and has followed up with double figures for both goals and assists this season.

Liverpool will have done their homework and know they're pursuing a young player with the right mentality to compete at the top of the Premier League and in the Champions League next season.
"I believe my teammates value me very much and know that I like to take on responsibility. That starts with always wanting to have the ball on the pitch to resolve situations," he added.
"The fact that I've been taking penalties since this season has also contributed to that. After all, I'm expected to score every time – a pressure I'm happy to take on.
"Off the pitch, I'm not someone who yells at teammates or constantly gives speeches in the locker room. But everyone knows they can always rely on me. I want to continue to grow in this leadership role."
