Manny Pacquiao is eyeing a big name fight in the first part of next year, but the WBA welterweight champion really wants a rematch with Floyd Mayweather too.

In the last 18 months Pacquiao has comeback in a big way with three wins in his last three fights, rounding off by beating Keith Thurman for the WBA welterweight title in July, one of the best wins of his career.

Now Pacquiao is eyeing an even bigger 2020, that's according to Sean Gibbons, president of MP Promotions, who spoke to Seconds Out about the Filipino's future opponents, "[Danny] Garcia, [Shawn] Porter or if Mikey [Garcia] is still floating around," Gibbons said.

"People don't realise that Mikey lost to Errol Spence, that was no shame. Everyone says Spence is the best. [Mikey] Garcia fits better with Manny because the size. Manny's more of a 140 pounder, he can still make 140.

"Mikey's more 140. If Mikey Garcia didn't lose to Errol Spence people would be saying it's a mega fight. Those, the Porters, the Garcias, are the kind of the names on the table."

Last week Mayweather revealed on Instagram that he would be returning to action in 2020, for the first time since beating Conor McGregor two years ago, and a rematch with Pacquiao is the fight most want to see.

The pair first met in May 2015, about five years after most would have wanted it, and the Filipino had to have surgery on his shoulder, following his loss.

Gibbons explained why that rematch is the fight the 40-year-old really wants, saying, "...Of course the real real pot at the end of the rainbow is Mayweather two.

"All this time there's been this talk, that Floyd has denied denied denied and all of a sudden Floyd says he's coming back and 'I want to do two fights and one's 'the Senator,'' and that's encouraging news because that's the fight 'the Senator' really wants.

"Not making excuses, some things went on in that camp that meant he wasn't 100% so he'd love to have the chance make that fight again."

And the man who heads up Manny Pacquiao promotions even managed to get a dig into his man's former rival when explaining that 'Pac-Man' would love to fight fellow welterweight champions Errol Spence and Terence Crawford, adding, "We're actually very keen to fight Errol Spence, unfortunately Errol decided to do an Evil Knievel in his car recently and put himself out for a while.

But I'm hearing very encouraging reports that Errol, it's a miracle that the guy had no broken bones. Nothing major that could possible keep him out. So Errol Spence is one of the names.

"Unfortunately Terrence Crawford fights for Bob Arum, we fight under the PCB banner, Al Haymon is doing amazing things for us. He basically brought the Senator back from the depths of almost retirement to where we are now.

"The Senator's never afraid of Terence Crawford, would have fought Terence Crawford. Bob Arum never really came to us and offered it right.

"This is a guy that's never backed away from anything in his life, it's not Floyd Mayweather. Floyd Mayweather kind of cherry picked here and there. Picked guys at the right time."
