A British fighter promoted by Eddie Hearn and Matchroom Boxing has revealed that he’s received a lucrative offer from Dana White-backed Zuffa Boxing.
Zuffa Boxing, owned by the UFC and WWE’s parent company TKO Group Holdings, has already caused a storm in the sport when they poached Conor Benn despite the Brit previously working with Hearn for his whole decade-long professional career.
This was the catalyst for a war of words between White and Hearn, with both combat sports promoters taking multiple verbal digs at each other.
UFC President White, who is the lead promoter and co-founder of Zuffa Boxing, has openly slammed traditional promoters like Hearn and Queensberry chief Frank Warren, as well as promising to sign the “best fighters in the world”.

While Benn was Zuffa’s most notable signing, Jai Opetaia, a two-time IBF champion, has also put pen to paper, signing for the promotion.

Highly rated heavyweight Efe Ajagba and Mihai Nistor, who beat Anthony Joshua in the amateurs, are also part of Zuffa’s roster.
Tyson Fury also appeared to tease a “big announcement”, which many thought was going to be him signing for Zuffa, although his promoter Warren has since downplayed the rumours.
Fury’s manager Spencer Brown also shut down talk of a Zuffa deal, saying: “I can categorically tell you that there's no contract with Zuffa for Tyson Fury."
Zuffa propose offer to Matchroom fighter
Now, one of Fury’s fellow British heavyweights who fights under the Matchroom banner has revealed that he has received a lucrative offer from Zuffa.
Johnny Fisher claimed he’d received a lucrative offer worth “six or seven times” more than the current deal he has in place with Hearn and Matchroom.
"It's the offer that I've been made and I'm really excited that I've been made that offer," Fisher told The Stomping Ground. "I just want to see what can be done.
"There is a possibility that I don't even have to give Eddie matching rights to this because of a match that happened in the past, but that's beside the point.
"It wouldn't be right to try and challenge that. I want to give Eddie the chance to give me something close to that, so let's see what Eddie comes back with.
"It's an exciting time for me. The money is one thing, and for the level of fights I'm being asked to take, it's six or seven times what I've been offered by Eddie."
He added: "I've been offered a one-fight deal, but it is exceptional money. Obviously, I've got to consider that because it is a lot higher than I've been offered [by Matchroom]."
Heavyweight Fisher currently boasts a professional record of 14 wins from 15 contests, with his only loss coming against Dave Allen in May 2025.
