John Fury, the father of boxing legend Tyson Fury, has issued an update on their relationship.
Ahead of Tyson's half-brother Tommy's fight against Eddie Hall in Manchester on Saturday night, John adopted a conciliatory tone in an interview about his spat with the Gypsy King.
John revealed in March that his relationship with Tyson had been 'completely destroyed' by boxing.
His comments about his son's prospects in his latest comeback were forthright but his latest interview didn't have the same sharp edge.

"Yeah, I'm looking forward to it," said John of reuniting with Tyson at Tommy Fury's fight with Hall.
"It's been a long time, you know, and at the end of the day I'm just trying to get things right with my son what should never have took place in the beginning.
"But let me tell you, he's stubborn and I'm stubborn. He's strong-headed and I am. It's a good job he doesn't want to hit me isn't it because I'd be dead."
At 61, the former pro boxer and bareknuckle fighter rightly doesn't fancy getting into a physical feud with junior but he doesn't seem to be holding on to much hostility towards Tyson.
"He's my boy isn't he and I love him and he's our talisman isn't he?" added John in his candid interview with Boxing King.
"Let me tell you, all this b******* we're doing here, if it wasn't for him, there'd be no me, there'd be no Tommy, there'd be no f*** all.
"It's the Gypsy King, his achievements, his accolades, that brought us to where we are today.
"Nobody else. And I'm forever in his debt."
What John Fury said about Tyson fall-out
While he's willing to acknowledge the positive effects of his son's famous career in the ring, John was openly critical before Tyson's comeback fight against Russia’s Arslanbek Makhmudov at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in April.
"I don't want Tyson's money and I don't need Tyson's money," he said in the spring.
"Whatever he's got, good luck to him. But don’t forget who built his story when he was a kid. He didn’t build it himself, did he? Me, his father.
"I think he's past his best. I'm a no-filter kind of guy – I say it how I see it.
"I love him, but there are too many people patting him on the back and telling him things that aren't true, building him up like he's invincible. He's not, and he hasn’t been for a while.
"Tyson has been gone since the Deontay Wilder fights; they finished him. Wilder completely did him. He's not got a leg underneath him.
The Gypsy King won his latest bout against Makhmudov by unanimous decision and is now gearing up to face Anthony Joshua later this year.
