The official rules for Tommy Fury v Eddie Hall have been revealed, and it's not good news for one man.

On Saturday night, undefeated boxer Fury, the younger brother of former heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, will make his return to the ring at a Misfits Boxing event in Manchester.

The 27-year-old will face former World's Strongest Man Hall, who will make his Misfits Boxing debut having previously fought for other boxing and MMA organisations.

Although Fury is also a heavyweight boxer, heading into the fight it was widely expected that Hall would weigh significantly more than his opponent, raising questions about the rules for the bout.

And with the fight rapidly approaching, the rules of the bout have been officially confirmed by Hall himself, who outlined exactly what fans can expect when the pair enter the ring on Saturday night.

"The fight will be with 12oz gloves and will be six, two-minute rounds. I will weigh in at whatever weight I am now to be honest. As long as I'm fit and in shape," Hall revealed on talkSPORT.

"It will probably be around the 150kg mark, there is no weight limit. With my diet, I've been a carnivore for a while now, so will be sticking to meat, eggs and dairy."

As per ESPN, the fight will also be classed as an exhibition, meaning the win, lose or draw, the outcome will not be reflected on the either man's professional record.

Reflecting on these rules, many fans have argued that they have been put in place in order to give Hall as much of an advantage as possible given Fury's seemingly superior boxing experience.

The lack of a weight limit means that the former World's Strongest Man can simply focus on training his skills rather than worrying about cutting weight ahead of the bout taking place.

And with only six two-minute rounds to compete in, the 38-year-old should be able to go all out without showing much concern for his cardio in the later rounds.

For comparison, a typical men's boxing fight would see each round last three minutes, giving Hall a total of six minutes less time to worry about gassing out.

On top of this, the classification of the bout as an expedition protects Fury's thus far unblemished record in the event that Hall lands a devastating knockout blow to secure the win.

Tommy Fury vs Eddie Hall weigh in results

Following the official weigh ins on Friday it was revealed that Hall will be a staggering 108.1lbs (49kg) heavier than Fury when they meet in the ring at at Manchester's AO Arena.

When he stepped onto the scaled Hall weighed in at 325.6lbs (147.7kg), while his opponent tipped the scales at 217.5lbs (98.7).

Despite this, Fury remains a steady favourite for the bout, with many believing that Hall's only chance to pick up an upset win will be with a knockout punch thanks to his weight advantage.

When asked at Thursday's press conference how he expects to get the job done on, 'The Beast' responded: "Overhand right. Third round. Knockout."

Meanwhile Fury argued that he will be able to secure the win clash whenever he wants.

He said: "I've envisioned it. I've visualised it, and this fight goes whenever I connect.

"Whether it's the first round or the last round, because when I connect, I'll seize the opportunity and I'll follow it up."

When asked about Hall's weight, Fury added: “He could be 400lbs heavier than me, I don’t give a f***,

“I’m ready to fight tomorrow, I don’t care who is in the opposite corner.

“The beast is going back in his cage tomorrow night, and I will reign supreme again.

“Whatever shot lands first, it will be goodnight."

What time is Tommy Fury v Eddie Hall?

Tommy Fury vs. Eddie Hall will take place on Saturday , June 13 , with the whole card shown live on DAZN Pay-Per-View and Ultimate Tier .

The first fight will start at 18.40pm BST, with Fury and Hall expected to make their way to the ring at around 22.27pm BST.
