A star of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) has responded angrily to the revelation that he is banned from attending the boxing match between Tommy Fury and Eddie Hall on Saturday.
Fury and Hall clash in a Misfits Boxing bout at Manchester Arena on June 13, headlining a fight card that also features Anthony Taylor vs Matty Floyd and, improbably, Ibiza Final Boss vs Jordan McCann.
Fury goes into the fight against the Beast with an unblemished professional boxing record and boasts four knockouts in his 11 pro wins.
It turns out not everyone is permitted to attend Fury's formidable test against a much larger opponent.
Advert
UFC middleweight Darren Till, 33, went public with the news of his ban in a string of furious posts on X, formerly Twitter.
"Just been informed that I am not allowed to attend the Misfits Boxing event on Saturday," posted the Liverpudlian fighter.
"I’ve never heard or seen anything so f****** ridiculous in my life. Apparently John Fury has it in a contract from July that any event Tommy is a part of, I am not allowed to be at.
"Gang of s***houses, if you ever wanted proof. By the way I’m still turning up on a random ticket with a cap and glasses on so we’ll see.
"You gang of cowards. Cowards the f****** lot of use. Proper s***ty bums. Fart bags."
Asked for his reaction on Uncrowned, Fury insisted he was focused on Hall and Hall alone.
"My job is to literally get in there and fight. I don't care who's there on the night," he said.
"He's a man that had his chance, and that's it. We've moved on. Darren Till is way in the past, so I'm not interested at all in him or what he's got to say or what anybody's got to say about him."
Till's Fury beef continues
The feud between Fury, the Fury camp and Till now dates back a couple of years.
Till and Fury were slated to fight in January 2025 but Fury pulled out of the match after Till warned that he would resort to MMA rules if it wasn't going his way.
"I can't believe I'm writing this but I am now not fighting Darren Till," announced the 27-year-old.
"For the one simple reason being that Darren has stated over and over that he does not want to abide by professional boxing rules and that if he is loosing [sic] the fight he will resort to kicking and other stupid MMA tactics."
"I am a professional boxer, I have been out of the ring for over a year and I wanted this to be a great BOXING fight for the fans. I have wasted weeks in training camp."
