Anthony Joshua insists he will fight anyone who challenges him as he gears up to face Tyson Fury in a highly anticipated bout later this year.
The former two-time world champion has not fought since he was involved in a tragic car accident in January, which saw him lose two close friends. His last fight saw him defeat Jake Paul in a high-profile heavyweight bout in December last year, as he returned to the ring following his knockout loss to Daniel Dubois in September 2024.
Joshua has bounced back from adversity several times in his career and remains confident in his abilities ahead of the proposed fight with Fury.
The 36-year-old is set to fight Kristin Prenga next month in the build-up to the huge British clash, with Joshua confident he can take on anyone despite that defeat to Dubois.

That includes Fabio Wardley, who was on the end of the first loss of his career to Dubois earlier this year and has already activated the option of a rematch after he lost his WBO heavyweight world title.
“For me, I want it all. I will fight everyone, and that’s why I still do it," he told Ring Magazine. "I’ve got so much improvement to do. This is my true identity as a fighter. I’ve got the love for it, the passion. It’s tough, don’t get me wrong. I fought Dubois, and I got knocked out, and I’m still standing strong here and I gave a good account of myself and I’m going to go out there and give my best again.”
Asked if he still had ambitions to become a three-time world champion, or whether his focus was solely on the fight with Fury, he added: “I’ll fight Fabio, I’Il fight all of them, because it’s what we do. There’s none of this ‘oh I don’t want to fight him, I don’t want to fight that person.’ That’s not where my head’s at. My head is in a totally different space from anyone who says ‘I don’t want to’. This is work. Give me work.”
Whether he gets that showdown with Fury will depend on whether he manages to defeat the unfancied Albanian Prenga next month, while Fury has announced plans to fight in early August.
Should they both win, the British heavyweights could finally be set to meet this winter, with Eddie Hearn confident the showpiece event will take place in November.
"No confirmed date yet but the plan for the fight is to take place in November, so pick your Saturday in November," Hearn told Sky Sports over the weekend.
"I think middle Saturday in November is a good shout, but again, we've got to get though Prenga and Fury's fight, which looks like August 1."
He added: "That fight can take place in the snow - I don't really care, as long as it takes place."
