Paige VanZant Shares Brutal Weight-Cutting Images For Her UFC Fights At 115lbs

UFC star Paige VanZant has admitted that she was "killing" herself to cut down to 115lbs after sharing extraordinary weight-cutting images.

The 26-year-old American has previously fought in the UFC's strawweight division and required a significant amount of weight drop to hit the 115-pound class.

VanZant, who competed at strawweight from 2012 to 2017, faced challenges of cutting down from as heavy as 137lbs to make weight for her fights.

One of the images posted was a topless VanZant lying on the bathroom floor as she later claimed she passed out from the process of cutting weight.

"It's a big cut for me," the UFC star told The MMA Hour in 2017.

"I'm a lot heavier than people realise. I was honestly killing myself for this sport.

"In my last I want to say two fights or three fights, I've passed out in my bathroom. This last one, I passed out and had the doctors almost not cleared me for the fight."

'PVZ,' who won her previous fight against Rachael Ostovich in 2019, has since fought at the 125-pound limit with the introduction of UFC's flyweight division.

VanZant welcomed the addition of the flyweight division by posting a bikini snap of her at 115lbs and by saying that she couldn't wait to "wreck shop at 125."

She tweeted in 2017: "115lb Paige? Ain't nobody got time for that!! Haha I can't wait to wreck shop at 125!!!! Who agrees????"

'PVZ' hit the headlines back in April after giving her phone number out to fans for them to chat to her, only for her to receive d**k pics from three fans.

The American MMA star hit out at UFC heavyweight Curtis Blaydes last month after he criticised some female fighters for only being on the roster due to their sex appeal.

VanZant is scheduled to return to action against Amanda Ribas at UFC 251 on 11th July.
