UFC fighter says he is homeless and living in his car despite 13-year career in the sport
UFC star Bobby Green, nicknamed ‘King’ Green, has revealed that his friends have left him homeless, despite owning nine houses and earning over $1.2 million in 2026.
Green is slated to fight Esteban Ribovics at UFC 332 on October 3. The 40-year-old has revealed that he will prepare for that bout while living out of his car — despite owning nine houses.
The American, who boasts a 13-year-long fighting career, claimed that his friends have taken residence in all of his nine homes, leaving the UFC star “homeless.”

During a recent stream with Arnold Barboza Jr., the 40-year-old revealed he recently spoke with fellow UFC star Sean Strickland and told him that he is “f****ng homeless, right now.”

According to Green, he owns “like nine houses” but has been displaced from each residence by his friends, leaving him to live in his car.
“All of my homies live in my homes, and so I’m f****ng living out of my car as speak,” said the American on stream. “I’ve got like nine houses, but I’m f****ng homeless, right now… crazy.”
'King’ recently claimed to have made $1.2 million in 2026, having fought three times in the UFC this year.
The American prevailed in each of those three bouts — twice in Round 1 — having defeated Daniel Zellhuber in February, then Jeremy Stephens in May, and Terence McKinney via KO in July.
His fourth fight of 2026 with Ribovics is scheduled in October. Last week, the 40-year-old revealed that he has earned more than $300,000 for each bout.
“[Fans] think I made $300,000 for each fight. I fought four times this year, earning more than that,” said Green, on another Barboza Jr. stream.
“That’s $1.2 million. I’ve heard checks being given of like $40,000, and $80,000 — that’s not a check to me.”
During Green’s knock-out victory against McKinney in July, at UFC 329, he pocketed the ‘Performance of the Night’ bonus — which currently sits at an estimated $100,000.

That bout with McKinney took place on the undercard for Connor McGregor vs Max Holloway 2, while Green’s upcoming battle against Ribovics will be on the undercard for Natalia Silva vs Cong Wang.
The main event, which has been branded by UFC fans as among the weakest in competition history, is for the women’s flyweight strap, after Valentina Shevchenko vacated the title through injury.
Ribovics, who enters the contest with a 16-3-0 record, is moderately favoured against Green — even more so, now, with the American having confessed to being homeless.
‘King’ previously made headlines in 2026 for, again, making bizarre statements concerning money. In May, the 40-year-old claimed to have had $300,000 worth of jewellery stolen from him.
Green, who owns the strip club ‘Club Fantasy’ in Florida, said earlier this year: "People have been playing with my heart… my money,” before accusing his ex-girlfriend of the crime.
“Everybody that comes near me, I have to be like, ‘What are you here for?’ Because they think you got some money. I bought a strip club and they're like, 'Oh, you got money. You're a strip club owner. You got money. You got money.'"
"So people play with you a certain way,” vented the American. “I have to question everybody around me… I feel like a giant cookie and everybody wants a bite.”
Some fans have also speculated that ‘King’ is the veteran fighter in question that Dana White referred to having made $11 million, without ever fighting for the world title.
