Derek Anderson suffered one of the worst broken noses in MMA history at Bellator 258 after Michael 'Venom' Page landed a brutal face-kick in their 175-pound catchweight clash.

Page, who now has the most knockouts in Bellator history (10), secured the spectacular first-round victory via doctor's stoppage on Friday night.

In years gone by, the 34-year-old has built a reputation for spectacular finishes - most notably when he 'caught' his opponent with a Pokeball in 2016 - and this devastating blow was no different. Wow.

Bellator's official Twitter page later posted slow-mo footage of the kick. I mean, just look at the state of Anderson's nose after it connected.

Despite the damage to his nose, Anderson managed to survive until the end of round one but the doctor deemed him in no state to continue after the heavy blow.

Page spoke about that "amazing" shot in his post-fight interview.

"I knew I'd land it. From the beginning, obviously a lot of people know I come in straight lines." he said.

"I'm a sniper, I come down the middle, and he kept trying to pull his head to one side.

"I wanted to keep checking and seeing if he's going to keep going to the same side, which he did. So I knew eventually I was going land a shot on that side.

"I didn't know it was going to be that big, but (it was an) amazing shot for me."

MVP, who has just one defeat to his record - a loss to current welterweight champion Douglas Lima - then called out Brazilian fighter following Friday's win.

"Everybody knows what I want. There's one redemption fight I'm looking for," he said.

"He's constantly got excuses for me now. I'm not interested in even calling his name, but everyone knows who he is. We will meet, and the same stuff is gonna happen."

And if Page needs one more win to get his wish, he also had a suggestion for his next matchup.

"Whoever's up there. Jason Jackson's there. Amazing fighter. I'd love to share the cage with him," he said.

"Whoever. I just want to get to the top.
