The current UFC light-heavyweight king hasn't fought since controversially beating Reyes in February with 'Bones' embroiled in a contract dispute with White.

But the UFC boss provided a fresh update on Jones, giving him a couple of different choices ahead of resuming his glittering career.

Speaking to The Schmo, White said: "If he stays at light heavyweight, he's got to fight Reyes again. You have to see the Reyes fight again.

"And if he moves up to heavyweight, there's a lot of interesting fights.

"He could fight Cormier, he could fight Stipe depending on who wins on Saturday. He could fight Francis Ngannou. There are a lot of fun fights for him at heavyweight."

Jones' long-time rival Daniel Cormier faces Stipe Miocic for the UFC heavyweight title in supposedly his last fight before walking away from the sport.

However, White isn't buying Cormier's retirement plan and expects him to continue fighting beyond UFC 252.

"No, it's not (Cormier's final fight)," he explained. "No, it's not. It's obviously going to depend on how the fight plays out on Saturday night.

"If Cormier wins in spectacular fashion, this will not be his last fight. And knowing him the way that I do, if he loses, then it will be, 'I can't go out like this.'"

He added: "You know me: When people start talk about retiring, I think they should. Stipe, who people were saying is probably going to retire after this, too, but he squashed that tonight, I don't think either one of them should retire.

"They're two of the best in the world, and they still have a lot left in them. But we'll see. We'll see how the fight goes on Saturday."
