Adama Traore tore Manchester City to shreds last night for the second time this season as Wolves came from 2-0 down to beat the champions at Molineux.

City could not contain the 23-year old, who scored the hosts first goal of the game before robbing Benjamin Mendy and laying on the assist for Raul Jimenez's equaliser.

His rampaging performance down the right flank followed up his two goals at the Etihad back in October and continued his much-improved campaign so far.

Traore's pace, athleticism and trickery has been a nightmare for defenders to come against but last season, there was one man who dealt with it like it was the easiest thing in the world.

Of course it was Liverpool's Virgil van Dijk. The Dutchman is calmness personified and during his side's 2-0 win away at Wolves last term, in a game he scored in, he made Traore look very, very ordinary.

The former Middlesbrough winger darted down the flank in a dangerous position but van Dijk showed just why he's the best defender in the world and was in Ballon d'Or contention.

He outpaced and outmuscled Traore, knocking him on the turf and winning the ball for his side. That folks, is how to defend against Adama Traore.

And remember, we're talking about a guy who has one of the best physiques in football today courtesy of a quite incredible body transformation.
