The Ultimate List Of Premier League Legends Ranked From 'GOAT' To 'Overrated'

A football fan has created the ultimate TierMaker ranking Premier League legends from 'GOAT' to 'Overrated'.

@BrilliantBowen_ on Twitter has taken on the tough task of ranking the players who have gifted us iconic moments throughout the years.

The 'GOAT' category is filled with prolific goalscorers such as Alan Shearer and Wayne Rooney as well as world class shot stoppers like Peter Schmeichel and Petr Cech.

The top tier also features former West Ham United captain Mark Noble which some fans found amusing, joking that he 'needed his own category'.

Emile Heskey also finds himself among the best likely thanks to his cult hero status to all Premier League fans.

The list is comprehensive and even features some players you could dub as the 'streets will never forget'.

In the 'Legend' tier comes a few surprising names, with Roy Keane's inclusion meaning he is behind longtime rival Patrick Vieira who's rated as a 'GOAT'.

Various other Manchester United players feature in the 'Legend' category, including Paul Scholes, Dwight Yorke and Andy Cole.

Leighton Baines is a surprise inclusion in this category but his longevity in the Premier League cannot be disputed.

Usual names such as Steven Gerrard, Sergio Aguero and Eric Cantona are also included here.

The 'Class' and 'Underrated Ballers' tier is when the team selection begins to get more varied.

Most of the upper tiers are dominated by the traditional 'big six' but further down allows gems such as Bobby Zamora and Jussi Jääskeläinen to pop up.

Below that comes the 'Average' tier which features ex Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as a standout player.

'Overrated' is sure to bring controversy with the inclusion of Jay-Jay Okocha.

Okocha joined Bolton Wanderers from Paris Saint-Germain in 2002 and at the time it was one of the greatest bargain buys of all time.

He lit up English football with his quick feet and managed to make the 'stepover' a key move in his arsenal.
