If you've ever played Football Manager then you'll understand the sheer joy and elation of discovering an 'elite' regenerated player.
Commonly known within the community as a regen, these computer generated beings arrive on the scene when real-life players decide to hang up their boots and retire. Although hard to find, they can make or break your team.
In my current save with Leeds United for example, a Brazilian forward called Rodolfo has helped me secure Champions League glory in the 2025/26 season.

But even he doesn't even compare to French striker Isaac Mbarga, who is worth a whopping £96 million for a very good reason.
The 25-year-old, who is currently on a weekly wage of £400k-a-week at Atletico Madrid, has gone viral this week for his ridiculous technical, mental and physical in-game stats.
From his 20 strength, 20 balance and 18 acceleration to his 20 decision-making, 20 free-kick taking and 18 composure, Mbarga has all the ingredients to win a record amount of Ballon d'Or's for the remainder of his career.

The fact that Atletico's coaching staff say that he "could still improve" in his overall summary says it all. Not to mention his perfect player traits.

The guys over at RegenHunters, a Twitter account dedicated to finding the very best regens in Football Manager, have discovered some outstanding talent in recent weeks but for many, Mbarga takes the crown.
