Louis Saha is worth over £4billion as reason emerges after ex-Man Utd man appears on Sky Sports
Louis Saha’s company, AxisStars, is valued at an eye-watering $4.3 billion, founded shortly after the Frenchman’s retirement from football in 2013.
The now 48-year-old lifted two Premier League trophies and the Champions League with Manchester United, between the years of 2004 and 2008.
Saha struck 42 goals in 124 appearances during his Old Trafford playing days; now, he’s the founder of a company worth $4.3 billion, which boasts well over 500 sports and entertainment-related clients.

Speaking with The Guardian in 2014, shortly after founding AxisStars with fellow entrepreneur Kate Hamer, the ex-Manchester United man said: “I realised that I really wanted to help young people.”

Saha’s eureka moment arrived after receiving positive feedback for his memoir, Thinking Inside the Box, a reflection on the Frenchman’s life as a Premier League-playing footballer published in 2012.
The now 48-year-old referred to AxisStars as “a virtual book, in a way” that provides a platform for young professionals to join as they build careers in sports, entertainment, and more.
“I realised that I really wanted to help young people. So being an agent was a possibility. Being a coach or a consultant was also an option,” said Saha.
“I had to choose a channel. In the end, mine was to create a digital platform. I felt that was way stronger, because basically anybody can use it. For instance, my agent called me to say he had a talented French footballer that he wanted to bring to England, and asked me for advice on how to create a tailor-made training programme.
“[So] I put him in touch with people I used to work with. This kind of player could join Axis as he can then search for a personal coach in his region… I feel more excited as an entrepreneur than I did on the field,” confessed the Frenchman.

While Cristiano Ronaldo’s net worth sits at an estimated $1-1.4 billion, Saha’s company is valued at an eye-watering $4.3 billion.
AxisStars lists the likes of fellow ex-Premier League footballer Dimitar Berbatov, British Olympic silver medalist Desiree Henry, and England cricketer Chris Jordan as member ‘Stars’ on its website.
In a video filmed by Berbatov for the company, he said: “[AxisStars] puts like-minded people together. It creates opportunities for them: you learn new things, make friends, and have fun.”
Saha’s company makes its money by charging ‘Partners’ a membership fee to enter its platform and list their opportunities. AxisStars’ members include professional athletes, musicians and actors.
By charging ‘Partners' a membership fee to operate on AxisStars, the Frenchman’s company does not take commission from pairing its member ‘Stars’ with the business.
“It is a hard process, but it’s so rewarding,” said the Frenchman in 2014. “Because if I can help 100,000 people, it’s the best thing I’ve ever done. When you’re on the field, yes, you have excitement. But did I really create something that will last? I’m not sure.
“This project is something I think is going to last, because the youth – or maybe even my kids, if one day they become professionals – are going to use it.
“I really hope players understand they have the opportunity to help the people close to them. Because it’s a headache to be the family member of a Star, as you get dragged into a lot of situations you have never thought about,” Saha concluded.
At the time of his interview with The Guardian, Saha also revealed his plans to ghost-write former teammate Patrice Evra’s autobiography and create an animated film.
