Nearly 500,000 FPL managers have already made a major mistake just one day into international break
Just one day into the international break, five strikers with hectic international schedules have been transferred into the FPL sides of nearly 500,000 managers.
The five strikers, all set to play hectic international schedules and risk injury, have been transferred into the collective squads of almost 500,000 FPL managers.
Charalampos Kostoulas, who recorded two goal involvements in Brighton’s 3-0 romp versus Arsenal on Saturday, has recorded the most transfers in, with over 200,000 FPL managers taking the Greek.

Charalampos Kostoulas (204,661 transfers in)
Those goal involvements brought Kostoulas’ English top-flight haul this term to three - two goals and an assist - for a total points haul of 28. He has been transferred into 204,661 FPL sides.

The Brighton bagsman, valued at £5.6million in FPL, previously bagged versus newly-promoted Coventry City, to open the Seagulls’ account in a 5-0 away victory.
Kostoulas was called up by Greece national team boss Ivan Jovanovic to play in their upcoming Nations League matches, against Serbia, Germany, the Netherlands, and Germany again.
First up is Serbia on Thursday at 7:45pm, followed by Germany this Sunday. Greece will play in their final two Group A games on October 1 and 4, before Brighton’s bagsman returns to England.
Brian Brobbey (116,080 transfers in)
Brian Brobbey, who bagged a hat-trick against league leaders Manchester City on Sunday, has been transferred in by 116,080 FPL managers ahead of the Netherlands’ Nations League matches.
Those Etihad efforts were Brobbey’s first three goals for Sunderland this term, taking his total points haul to 24 in five Premier League matches, and 401 minutes.
The Dutchman, valued at £5.7million in FPL, is performing above expectations, recording an xG of 2.94 in the English top-flight with three strikes to show for it.
He is set to face off against Germany on Thursday at 7:45pm BST, with almost 120,000 FPL managers set to lose their new asset should he see injury in the Nations League.
Ronald Koeman’s men play three additional matches this international break: Serbia on September 29, Greece on October 1, and Serbia again on October 4.
Alexander Isak (60,273 transfers in)
Liverpool’s Swedish striker, once a British transfer record signing, has enjoyed a vastly superior campaign thus far to his injury-ridden Anfield beginnings last term.
Isak, valued at £9.1million in FPL, has recorded five Premier League goal involvements - four goals and an assist - for a total points haul of 33.
His latest effort arrived in Liverpool’s 1-0 away victory versus Bournemouth, latching onto a loose ball and sweeping it beyond Cherries’ shot-stopper Dorde Petrovic.
The Swede will also likely feature in four Nations League matches, having been called up by national team boss Graham Potter, against Romania, Poland, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Romania again.
Sweden’s first match arrives this Friday against Romania, at 7:45pm BST, followed by Poland next Monday. Their remaining matches will be played on October 2 and 5.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin (60,062 transfers in)
The Leeds United striker, valued at £6 million in FPL, has bagged three goals in the Premier League this term, notching a total points haul of 22.
Calvert-Lewin, who received a call-up from Thomas Tuchel for England’s upcoming Nations League matches, struck a memorable brace during Leeds’ 4-1 win against Newcastle in mid September.
England will play World Cup winners Spain this Saturday at 7:45pm BST, followed by Czechia next Tuesday.
Their final matches of the international break, against Croatia and Czechia, will arrive on October 3 and 6. Calvert-Lewin has been transferred into 60,062 FPL sides ahead of his England schedule.
Yoane Wissa (50,771 transfers in)
The Newcastle striker, set to play Africa Cup of Nations qualifying football with DR Congo, has bagged two goals involvements - one goal and one assist - in the English top-flight this term.
Valued at £6.2million, and a new addition in the sides of 50,771 FPL managers, Wissa has notched a total points haul of 15.
He will enjoy a slightly less hectic schedule with his national team, facing Equatorial Guinea on Thursday at 5pm BST, then Zimbabwe next Monday.
