Tottenham Hotspur battled to a hard-earned point against Liverpool on Sunday, with Harry Kane scoring his home Premier League goal of the season in the 2-2 draw.
His trademark, close-range finish put Spurs in front, but the England skipper was making the headlines for the wrong reasons after half-time with a challenge on Andy Robertson that left Jurgen Klopp incandescent with rage.

Paul Tierney gave Kane a yellow card, while Klopp clearly felt it warranted a red - an opinion shared with former Premier League referee, Mark Clattenburg.
"If Harry Kane's lunge on Andy Robertson isn't a red card then I'm not sure what is. The tackle is high, it's above the ankle, studs are showing and it's late. It didn't have a good look to it from any angle," he said, in quotes published by GiveMeSport.
"Andy Robertson sees the challenge coming from Harry Kane. He knows if he leaves his leg planted then there's a good chance he'll be getting stretchered out of the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and spending Christmas in a moon boot.
"By jumping out of the way, Robertson avoids serious damage. Kane gets away with his lunge as referee Paul Tierney shows only a yellow, with VAR Chris Kavanagh deciding it was not a clear and obvious error. I'd have shown Kane red."
Kane's lighter punishment was not the only controversial incident of the afternoon, with many believing Robertson was lucky not to receive a red card for his challenge on Emerson Royal. The Scotsman's goal was also questioned, as were the the penalty appeals for Dele Alli and Diogo Jota.
It was a breathless game of football, but a result which would have left both sides feeling disappointed after two dropped points.
Klopp's men moved three points behind Manchester City following the draw, while Spurs missed out in a chance to make further ground on the top four, and are currently six points adrift of Arsenal, albeit with three games in hand.
Both teams are back in action on Boxing Day - barring any further Covid-19 related postponements, as Spurs host Crystal Palace, while the Reds welcome Leeds United to Anfield.
