The odds on the next Wrexham manager have emerged after defeat to QPR, with a surprise favourite for the job.
After Wrexham's 3-1 loss at home to QPR, they sit just outside the Championship relegation zone in 21st place with four points from the opening five games.
It has increased the pressure on manager Phil Parkinson, who has overseen three successive promotions in north Wales and taken the club from non-league to the Championship. Despite his previous success with Wrexham, expectations were high for this season after a £33m summer transfer window, in which they brought in 13 players.
Although Parkinson has pled for time, Hollywood owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney may not show patience with a global spotlight on the club. Now, odds have emerged for who the next man to take the job at the Racecourse will be.

The favourite at 3/1 is the former Sheffield Wednesday boss Danny Rohl.
He guided the Owls to an impressive 12th place finish last season amid financial turmoil, but left in the summer with the club still in disarray.
Rohl has already been linked to other Championship jobs and was on Leicester City's shortlist to replace Ruud van Nistelrooy, although those talks broke down.

But with the financial backing that Wrexham's Hollywood owners have shown, he may fancy a potential promotion push.

Who are the other contenders for the Wrexham job?
Former Bournemouth and Wolves manager Gary O'Neil is second on the list at 4/1. After a mixed season on the south coast, he was sacked before he joined Wolves in the summer of 2023.

He finished 14th in his first season with Wolves, but was sacked in December 2024 with the club 19th and four points from safety.
Sean Dyche is next in the odds at 5/1. The Englishman has been out of work since he was dismissed as Everton boss in January, but he has shown his expertise with Burnley.
The recently sacked Sheffield United boss Ruben Selles is at odds of 7/1, although is unlikely to excite Wrexham fans after losing the opening five games with the Blades.
Phil Jones, who is currently a youth coach at Manchester United, comes in at 15/2.

The former Rangers and Aston Villa boss Steven Gerrard is at 9/1, as he searches for his first job since his stint in Saudi Arabia.
Ruud Van Nistelrooy is at 11/1 following his disastrous spell at Leicester City, while former England boss Gareth Southgate is at the same odds.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Tony Mowbray are both at 14/1, while the legendary Jose Mourinho is priced at 16/1.
