Wrexham have reportedly decided to add another former Premier League defender to their squad after their 2-1 Championship defeat to Southampton.
The Red Dragons went back to Wales with no points after Jack Stephens scored a 96th-minute winner for the Saints.
Wrexham had gone 1-0 up in the first half through Josh Windass' penalty, before substitute Ryan Manning equalised with a superb free-kick in the final minute of normal time.

It was a harsh reality check for Wrexham, who are playing in the second tier of English football for the first time in 43 years.
And while elements of their performance will no doubt have pleased manager Phil Parkinson, it is reported that the club are prioritising defensive reinforcements.
Wrexham have already signed centre-back Conor Coady from Leicester for £2 million, and sealed a club-record move for Empoli wing-back Liberato Cacace.
According to The Sun's Alan Nixon, Parkinson wants to stick with experienced heads and bring in Jack Robinson from Sheffield United.
Robinson came through the Liverpool academy and began his career at left-back, but shifted to centre-back after suffering a string of serious injuries.

He joined United in January 2020 and made six appearances as the Blades finished in 10th place in the Premier League that season.
Relegation would follow the next summer, but Robinson played a significant role in their return to the top flight a year later.
He then appeared 34 times in the Premier League during the 2023/24 campaign but suffered another relegation, though was one of the Blades' few consistent performers.
Robinson featured regularly last term but, despite the sale of key centre-back Anel Ahmedhodzic, only came off the bench in the Blades' 4-1 defeat to Bristol City on Saturday with new boss Ruben Selles switching to a back four.

It is claimed that Wrexham want to complete a 'bargain deal' for the 31-year-old, with the player himself said to be 'keen' on a move to the Racecourse Ground.
It is unclear as to whether Sheffield United would allow Robinson to leave at present, given their lack of depth at centre-back.
As well as club captain Robinson, Rhys Norrington-Davies is also able to play at centre-back, while the Blades have signed Tyler Bindon - who worked under Selles at Reading - on loan from Nottingham Forest.

According to Football Insider, however, they may have already found their Robinson replacement, with the club set to approach Atalanta over a loan deal for former Everton defender Ben Godfrey.
