Manchester United have reportedly named their price for Bruno Fernandes, with a potential January exit set to fund two key signings.
Fernandes, 31, remains one of United’s key players, having registered four goals and six assists in 15 Premier League games this term, including a brace in his side’s 4-1 win against Wolves on December 8.
And despite being crucial to Ruben Amorim’s plans, the Portugal international could reportedly be set to depart the club next month, with funds raised likely to be used to sign two Premier League midfielders.
Of course, Fernandes, who is contracted to United until 2027, was previously the subject of interest from Saudi Pro League clubs during the summer transfer window, with the 31-year-old reportedly rejecting huge offers from Al-Hilal and Al-Ittihad to make the move to the Middle East in favour of staying at Old Trafford.

A report by BBC Sport, in October, claimed that the player “has no interest in moving to Saudi Arabia at the end of the season”, however, a contrary report by Caught Offside has suggested that further bids from Al-Hilal and Al-Ittihad are expected, with United valuing Fernandes to be worth around £70 million.

A sale at the aforementioned price would mean United recoup all of the £55 million they paid for Fernandes when he arrived from Sporting CP in 2020.
The funds could then reportedly be used to sign Nottingham Forest and Brighton midfielders Elliot Anderson and Carlos Baleba as early as the January transfer window.
According to The Telegraph, Forest want at least £100 million for England international Anderson and are unlikely to sell him mid-season. Brighton’s Baleba is also likely to cost a similar fee.
A recent report from ESPN also suggested that the club will listen to offers for out-of-favour players Kobbie Mainoo, Manuel Ugarte, Tyrell Malacia, and Joshua Zirkzee and that United are keen on bringing in two central midfielders, although out of United’s targets, only Stuttgart’s Angelo Stiller is likely to be both affordable and available next month.

But what has Fernandes said about potentially leaving United?
Speaking to BBC Sport earlier this season, the United skipper maintained that he felt “good” at the Red Devils and that he wanted to achieve his “dreams” with the club.
"I can't talk for the club,” Fernandes explained. “I've seen a lot of people talking that I had an agreement to go already next season. If the club has done that agreement, it wasn't made with me. I haven't spoken with anyone.
"My agent also knows how I work. If he wants to talk to me, it will be after the World Cup. Until then, I won't speak to anyone."
