Kobbie Mainoo's preferred destination if he departs Manchester United during the upcoming January transfer window has become clear out of more than 12 clubs interested in signing him.
Mainoo, 20, has struggled for regular game time at United since Ruben Amorim took over as head coach last year.
This season, Amorim has often preferred a midfield duo of Casemiro and captain Bruno Fernandes, with Mainoo restricted to appearances off the substitutes' bench.
Mainoo is held in high regard by the club's supporters, having come through the famous Old Trafford Academy to the first team.

However, reports have strongly suggested Mainoo is seeking a January exit from United on loan ahead of next summer's World Cup.
Mainoo has 10 caps for the Three Lions and started the Euro 2024 final defeat to Spain, but his lack of regular game time at United this year means he potentially faces an uphill task to be included in Thomas Tuchel's squad for next year's World Cup in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
Mainoo had sought a loan move away in the summer from United - whom he has a contract with until the summer of 2027, with the Old Trafford club having the option to extend this by a further 12 months.
The midfielder has made 11 appearances for United this season in all competitions, with his only start coming in the shock League Cup second round loss at the hands of Grimsby Town.

According to Caught Offside, more than a dozen clubs are in the race to sign Mainoo and that Chelsea and Bayern Munich are said to be 'leading the chase' for his services.
However, the publication also reports that Italian champions Napoli are the side that Mainoo would prefer to join, if he does leave United temporarily.
If he does end up moving to the Serie A side, he would link up with former United team-mate Scott McTominay, who became a key figure in Napoli winning last season's Scudetto and was even nominated for the Ballon d'Or.
Striker Rasmus Hojlund is spending the season at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona on loan from United, with the Italian side having an obligation to buy the Denmark international for around £38m if they secure qualification for next season's Champions League.
