Bruno Fernandes has been tipped to leave Manchester United after rejecting a move to Saudi Arabia in the summer transfer window.
After United suffered defeat in the Europa League final and finished 15th in the Premier League, their captain was heavily courted by Al Hilal - who were willing to fork out £100 million for his services.
His Portugal teammates Joao Cancelo and Ruben Neves ply their trade with Al Hilal and Fernandes' agent, Miguel Pinho, travelled to Middle East for discussions.
However, despite the interest and a lucrative salary offer - Fernandes ultimately decided to stay put following conversations with his wife and United boss Ruben Amorim.

"It would have been easy to move there," Fernandes said in a press conference back in July.
"I know the Portuguese players there very well. But I want to play at the highest level and compete for major titles. I can do that, and I still want to. I’m very passionate about football.”

The former Sporting CP midfielder has played eight times in the Premier League, scoring twice and grabbing his first assist of the season for Harry Maguire's winning goal against Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday.

The win moved United up to ninth in the Premier League but speculation around Fernandes' future still remains - with a new report claiming that Bayern Munich want to sign Fernandes.
The Bundesliga leaders are thriving under Vincent Kompany, winning every one of their games in all competitions this season.
According to Keith Wyness, former CEO of Everton who now works with elite level clubs through his own football consultancy, Bayern are already preparing an offer for Fernandes in the future.
“I think Bayern Munich are going to be the ones to come in for him," he said on Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast.

"One of my good sources has told me that there are already bids being readied. “They’re looking at the numbers, and Bruno would go to Germany. I think he’d be a big hit over there as well.
"Bayern Munich, we’ve all watched Harry Kane recently in great scoring form. I think Fernandes would do well there, and I think that’s what will happen.
"It would be good for United as well to freshen up that area. Even though he’s been a great performer for them, I think it’s something that they’ve got to look at for the future to try and reset that midfield.”

Fernandes penned a new contract with United in 2024, trying him down to 2027 - though the club have the option of extending his deal for an extra year.
Under Amorim, Fernandes has played out of position in central midfield in his 3-4-3 system.
Since joining in 2020 for a fee of £47 million, scoring 100 goals in 299 games and becoming one of the club's best signings in recent history.
