Paris Saint-Germain’s Achraf Hakimi left the pitch in tears after Bayern Munich’s Luis Diaz was sent off for a reckless challenge on him.
The away side started the game quickly in Paris with Diaz putting Bayern ahead after just four minutes.
The reigning Champions League holders failed to get going in the first half and fell further behind when the Colombian bagged his brace on 32 minutes.
But the former Liverpool winger went from hero to villain in first-half stoppage time after a poor challenge on Hakimi.

Diaz attempted to win the ball back from the Moroccan as he ran forward before sliding and landing on the PSG star’s ankle.
Hakimi appeared to be in pain in the moments after the incident and left the pitch in tears while being helped off by his teammates.

The Colombian was initially shown a yellow card by Italian referee Maurizio Mariani, but this was upgraded to red after a VAR review. Diaz will be suspended for Bayern's trip to Arsenal on November 26. The extent of Hakimi's injury is unclear but some fans have already voiced their fears that he could miss the upcoming AFCON which starts on December 21 and will take place in his home nation of Morocco.

A number of supporters took to social media to offer their thoughts on the tackle.
One said: "This is one of the most reckless tackles I’ve ever seen. Luis Díaz may very well have ended Achraf Hakimi’s season… and the prime of his career."
Another added: "I think that if he doesn't go out injured, the card stays yellow, but it's up to the referee's discretion. It's Hakimi who's looking for the foul, so yeah, it's true that the tackle isn't pretty, but it's totally unintentional."

A third claimed: "Scissor challenge from behind. Went straight for his legs, not even remotely close to the ball. No contact with the ball. Broke his ankle. Not much more to it. Deserved red."
As a fourth commented: "What I've been dreading for months about Hakimi and the chain of all the matches and so on has just happened, but it was so predictable, Hakimi will be out for the AFCON."
While a fifth exclaimed: "Hakimi gets injured on his birthday and will probably miss the AFCON in his own country. What a horrible scenario."
PSG return to Ligue 1 action away against Lyon on Sunday while Bayern face a trip to Union Berlin on Saturday.
