Arsenal fans have been left worried after one player seemed to injury himself during their last-minute celebrations against Leicester.

Mikel Arteta's side beat the Foxes 4-2 at the Emirates sparking wild scenes in the final few minutes.

A Wilfred Ndidi own goal plus a further strike from Kai Havertz ensured the Gunners extended their unbeaten run in the Premier League.

But it was footage that emerged at full time which left supporters concerned, with a busy schedule to come.

As pictured via Daily AFC on X, formerly known as Twitter, Riccardo Calafiori looked to have suffered a knee injury.

The Italian defender could be seen grimacing in the final few moments after Arsenal had scored their fourth goal.

Further reports stated that the 22-year-old left the pitch in tears with an update yet to be provided.

Calafiori joined the club from Bologna back in July and is already a fully fledged Italian international.

The talented defender has replaced Ben White at right-back in recent weeks but could now be facing a spell on the sidelines.

Fans were also left stunned that Calafiori avoided a red card in the victory, with Arteta forced to clear up that he needed a second look at the decision

"I haven’t seen the action but I got really worried when that happened because he gave the foul, but I haven’t seen the replay."

The Gunners boss also addressed his pride after they were pegged back on two separate occasions against the Foxes on Saturday.

"I have to check but I don’t think it was on that paper," began the Spaniard when asked if his players predicted the outcomes of the game.

"It got very emotional, more emotional than we wanted certainly but I am really pleased with the performance the way we played, the chances we created, how we dominated the game and after 2-0 the result should have been much bigger.

"But this is the Premier League, the quality of the opponent, the quality of Leicester, they scored two goals and I’m even happier how we dealt with that situation afterwards.

"It was emotionally superb, in control, very clear in what we have to do, how consistent we have to be to attack the spaces and continue to do a lot of the things we were already doing, I think we fully deserved to win the game."
