Football is filled with some amazing moments. We said 'some' for a reason, as these are the moments where the 'Beautiful Game' becomes quite painful.

During the UEFA Nations League match between France and Germany, Chelsea's Antonio Rudiger and VfB Stuttgart's Benjamin Pavard ended up colliding in a nasty challenge.

Pavard came in for a challenge on Rudiger, with the centre-back keeping his foot on him. As you can imagine, the Chelsea player's boot left Pavard with some serious damage across his neck.

Ouch.

It does look pretty painful.

Whether it was intentional or not, most people would expect a red card to be shown by the referee. Okay, you might even expect to see a yellow card at minimum for the damage done to Pavard's neck.

Surprisingly, Rudiger walked away from the incident without any action being taken. Talk about catching a lucky break, eh?

Footballs fans have taken to social media to share their thoughts on the incident.

Should Rudiger have been sent off?
