Manchester United have finally revealed when JJ Gabriel's future will be addressed amid rumours he's trying to force a surprise exit.
Ahead of what was expected to be his senior debut with United, shock reports emerged claiming that wonderkid Gabriel was looking to leave Old Trafford as soon as possible amid interest from clubs across England and Europe.
Despite rampant rumours across social media and the press, both United and Gabriel himself have remained tight-lipped on the situation, but that will all change following the Carabao Cup third round clash with Brighton.

Man United confirm plans to address JJ Gabriel's future
Heading into the 2026/27 season, there were few youngsters playing for Premier League sides that had as many eyes on them as Gabriel, who was set to receive his first senior appearance during the Carabao Cup match at Old Trafford.

But just days before the match, it was reported that the 15-year-old was pushing to leave United as soon as possible.
Real Madrid, Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich are believed to be the frontrunners to sign the United youngster due to a loophole that would allow them to sign him before his 16th birthday, if he has dual nationality thanks to his mother, who is Greek Cypriot.
A move within the Premier League is also possible, but he will have to wait he turns 16 in October, with Chelsea not an option as they are banned from signing academy players until December.
As it stands, it's impossible to know what exactly what will happen, but it's likely we will have a better idea after the final whistle at Old Trafford as United have reportedly confirmed that the club will finally speak out on the situation.
According to journalist Nathan Salt, this is likely to come through United manager Michael Carrick during the club's post-match press conference, rather than an official club statement.
It's unclear what the nature of this statement will be and how it may impact JJ Gabriel's at the club.

The truth behind JJ Gabriel's attempts to leave Man United
In the days following the initial report, there has been plenty of discussion around Gabriel's behaviour attempting to force the move.
However, according to a report from the Daily Mail, it is actually the actions of his father, Joe O'Cearuill, that has caused such a headache for Manchester United.
The former Ireland international is said to have grown 'increasingly ambitious, volatile and even paranoid' in recent years as his son's talents became more and more clear.
"This has been a long-term project for his dad, going on since JJ was a kid," a coach who worked with Gabriel in his younger years told Daily Mail Sport.
"He was homeschooled. He moved to Manchester (from London). The dad is not messing around. He's never wasted time. He wants him to be the best in the world. He’s very eager, very keen, very on it. He is OTT. But then most parents are."
The report adds that O'Cearuill, who has compared his son to Lionel Messi, Neymar and Yamal in social media posts, has a 'dim' outlook on United's coaching and has grown frustrated with his son's development, despite him potentially getting a senior debut at 15.
