JJ Gabriel will be wearing white in the 'immediate future', according to reports in Spain, after the highly-rated teenager 'rejected' an offer to join European champions Paris Saint-Germain.
The 16-year-old, who is widely regarded as one of the best young talents in world football, is on the verge of leaving Manchester United after submitting a formal request to leave the club with immediate effect.
A lack of first-team minutes is said to be a major factor behind the decision to leave Old Trafford, with a report from the Daily Mail also suggesting Gabriel is keen to 'learn from the best' to maximise his talents.

Omar Berrada, United's chief executive, and director of football Jason Wilcox have been directly involved in discussions with the player's family, but attempts to salvage the situation appear to have proven unsuccessful.
Since expressing his desire to leave, Gabriel has attracted interest from several clubs - including Bayern Munich and Barcelona - but it appears Real Madrid is the most likely destination.

A report from SPORT claims the saga around Gabriel's future is 'nearing its end', with Los Blancos being the only club willing to pay more than €10 million on a 'comprehensive' three-season contract.
In fact, the picture is 'clearer than ever', according to the publication. Bayern was apparently ruled out from the start, and Barcelona were not interested in engaging in a so-called 'auction'.
JJ Gabriel turns down latest offer from Paris Saint-Germain
PSG were said to be one of the frontrunners to sign Gabriel, but the above report suggests he was left unconvinced by their sporting project. Instead, he has a 'desire' to play in Spain.
"With PSG out of the picture – barring any last-minute changes – it's now safe to say that JJ Gabriel will be wearing white in the immediate future," claims SPORT. "The big duel between Barca and Madrid is also now a done deal."
Going back to his ambition of playing in Spain, Gabriel believes the country has 'all the necessary conditions' for him to showcase his talents as soon as possible.
So, how much will a club have to pay to make a deal happen?
Earlier this month, Sky Sport Germany revealed a 'considerable' financial outlay would be required to sign Gabriel, with a total package - including the transfer fee, bonuses and other payments - being 'well over' €10-15 million.
According to FIFA compensation figures for a Category I academy player, Manchester United would receive around £350,000 if he moves abroad, as per The Guardian.
