Peter Schmeichel accused Lisandro Martinez of trying to "orchestrate" a move away from Manchester United in a scathing rant following the club's 2-0 defeat to Chelsea.
It was an afternoon to forget for Martinez, who gave away an unnecessary penalty and was sent off after picking up two quickfire yellow cards at Stamford Bridge.
Martinez was initially booked for pulling back Morgan Rogers in the 59th minute, and just four minutes later, he caught Wesley Fofana with a raised arm while trying to defend a corner.

The incident also resulted in a penalty, which Cole Palmer converted to double Chelsea's lead.
Martinez, who called out United's hierarchy after their Champions League defeat against Atletico Madrid this month, was ignored by Michael Carrick as he walked off the pitch.

Peter Schmeichel calls Lisandro Martinez performance "an absolute disgrace"
After a promising first-half performance, Carrick's side extended their winless run to nine consecutive games as second-half goals from Morgan Rogers and Palmer secured the spoils.
Martinez, meanwhile, has been criticised for his performance by former United goalkeeper Peter Schmeichel, who did not hold back in his assessment of the World Cup winner.
“I put this solely on Lisandro Martinez's shoulders," he began. "This is an absolute disgrace how he played this game.
“Two weeks ago, he came out and made some very, very strong statements against his teammates, against the football club, and it felt like he was trying to orchestrate a move.
“He's in the last year of his contract. What he did today, honestly, I have no words.
“The first goal, I mean, he's played a World Cup final. Somebody who's played a World Cup final can't defend the way he defended on the first goal."
Schmeichel added: “The penalty... I have no words. I literally have no words for how crazy that was. And then he walks off the pitch, shaking his head as if he's done nothing wrong. So bad."
Michael Carrick reacts to Lisandro Martinez red card against Chelsea
In his post-match interview, Carrick played down the idea of being let down by Martinez.
"I've not seen it back, so I don't know if it was or not," he said. "It's a big moment in the game. The second goal and losing a man at that stage had a big influence on it, for sure."
TNT Sports commentator Joe Cole, meanwhile, said the red card was “unfathomable”.
“He has let [Carrick] down,” Cole said. “He’s made a huge error. I don’t know the lad, but he’s let his team-mates down 100 per cent. It’s a crucial moment.”
