So there we have it. Floyd Mayweather and Tenshin Nasukawa went head-to-head on New Year's Eve and it was a tad ridiculous.

A few months back, Far East MMA promotion Rizin held a press conference to confirm that Floyd 'Money' Mayweather will be involved in a bout on the Rizin 14 card at Saitama Super Arena in Tokyo to close out 2018.

It was an unexpected turn of events, and the rule set was even more bizarre.
It was announced that the bout would be nine minutes of boxing (3x 3 minute rounds) AND the result won't count on either fighter's record.

There wasn't even any judges, or even a scoring system, but it was clear that Mayweather was the stronger man, dropping his opponent three times in seconds.
Nasukawa was in tears in his corner after defeat, but Mayweather praised his efforts in a humble post-fight interview.
