Conor Benn shows off outrageous body transformation weeks away from Ryan Garcia fight

Conor Benn is set to square off with Ryan Garcia at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on September 12 and he will be aiming to secure his third win in a row, following his first ever loss in his professional career, with the English boxer taking this objective seriously after seeing the shape he has got himself into for the bout.

The 29-year-old suffered his only professional defeat to Chris Eubank Jr in April 2025 before getting revenge on compatriot in November of the same year, before securing a victory over Regis Prograis.

Benn’s win by unanimous decision against the American boxer has set up the clash with Garci this September, with the English boxer aiming to claim the WBC welterweight title off the 28-year-old.

Now, the English boxer has returned to 147 lbs for the first time since 2022, with the transformation being seen in comparative images posted by Ring Magazine on X, formerly known as Twitter.

Garcia only claimed the WBC welterweight title in February, as he secured a unanimous decision victory over Mario Barrios.

The fight between Benn and the American could be a close affair as seen in their professional boxing records, with both boasting 25 victories; however, the English boxer has only suffered on defeat while Garcia has lost on two occasions.

Benn believes he is the underdog for this fight, but he feels the challenge will allow him to thrive in the bout against Garcia.

Speaking to Sky Sports, the English boxer said: “I like being the underdog.

“I think I perform at my best. Every single one of my fights has led me to this moment. All the pressure I’ve had early on has prepared me for nights like those.”

Throughout his career, Benn has only ever been viewed as the underdog twice, in his clashes against Eubank, but he will be well aware of the danger that Garcia poses.

The American has a lightning-fast left hook that has produced some of his biggest knockdowns, with this set to be a danger to Benn due to the English boxer’s aggressive style which will provide Garcia to land a decisive shot.

Benn’s bout with Garcia is set to be an incredible spectacle and due him being the underdog it is no surprise that he has got into this outrageous shape just weeks away from the fight.
