Tyson Fury has weighed on Daniel Dubois' knockout defeat to Oleksandr Usyk, refuting suggestions that 'Triple D' quit in the fifth round.
Having been on a three-fight winning streak which included an incredible knockout of Anthony Joshua, Dubois returned to Wembley Stadium on Saturday night with the intention of becoming undisputed heavyweight champion.
But Dubois, whose preparations appear to have been dented by party held at his house the day of the bout, was unable to avenge his controversial defeat to Usyk in Poland, suffering a devastating knockout in the fifth round and losing his IBF heavyweight title.

The 27-year-old received plenty of criticism for the final sequence, with some people within boxing claiming that he elected to quit.
However, former two-time world heavyweight champion Fury leapt to Dubois' defence and praised his efforts in the ring against one of the very best boxers in the modern era.
He also described other people in boxing as "jealous" of his journey and achievements.

"Hi guys, quick one I keep getting asked about this Dubois stuff and quitting," Fury said while out running in a video posted on his social media.
The facts are young Daniel did his best against one of the greatest champions that's ever been and it wasn't good enough.
"He got put down twice? What do you want him to do, die in the ring?
"There's no first place for betting battered to f**k and still losing. The lad did his best, he wasn't going to win, he was better of getting out of there.

"There is a lot of jealousy in boxing. Especially when individuals making a lot of money. A lot of jealous fighters.
"There are now cowards in boxing. So all the credit goes to Daniel. He worked his b****ks off since the age of 8.
"Now he's sitting at home as a multi-millionaire. Daniel if you ever get to see this, chin up son. Everybody is proud of you."

Fury continued: "You've gone from a kid to a man to being the world heavyweight champion and boxing in front of 100,000 at Wembley.
"If you ever want to do any training, come to Morecambe any time you want kid. There is no jealousy here.
"There's no putting people down here, they are dirty jealous w****rs. I call them dream crushers."
Usyk again called out Fury after his win, also mentioned Joshua, Derek Chisora and Joseph Parker as potential opponents.

However, Saudi boxing chief Turki Alalshikh has other ideas as he is advocating for Usyk to face undefeated 20-year-old British star Moses Itauma.
I want to see Usyk against Itauma. This is the fight."
