The massive amount of money that Napoli will demand for star player Scott McTominay has been revealed.
Ever since he left boyhood club Manchester United in August 2024 to join Serie A giants Napoli, life couldn't be going better for McTominay.
In his first season in Italy, the midfielder led Antonio Conte’s side to the Serie A title, winning the league’s MVP award and securing a 18th-place finish in the Ballon d'Or rankings in the process.
To top things off, the 28-year-old scored a spectacular bicycle kick against Denmark to help, Scotland defied the odds and secured automatic qualification for the 2026 World Cup for the first time since 1998.

But McTominay's impressive form has not gone unnoticed as several clubs are reportedly interested in signing him next year, and Napoli have named their price.

When Napoli signed McTominay in the summer of last year, they paid United reported fee in excess of £25million.
However, given his impressive form and importance to Conte's side, sources close to the Scotsman have reportedly claimed that only a 'perfect' offer with a hefty price tag would pry him away from Napoli any time soon.

“Scott’s heart still beats for the Premier League,” a source revealed to TeamTalk.
“But it has to be right – the right club, the right project, the right role. He’s not chasing a paycheque; he’s building a legacy.”
Premier League leaders Arsenal and former club United are among the Premier League sides said to be considering a move for McTominay, but according to a club source, any bid below €80m (£70.5m) would be 'laughed out of the boardroom'.
“We’re building something special here,” the source added. “Scott’s thriving – why would they disrupt that?”

Rumours surrounding McTominay's future at Napoli have been following the midfielder for months, with Manchester United legend Dwight Yorke recently suggesting that the Scotman would jump at the chance to make a shock return to Old Trafford.
Because of this, McTominay decided to address the rumours in May ahead of the summer transfer window, stating: "I'm happy in Naples and I'm working for fans who give me something emotionally. That's very important."
