
Scott McTominay has earned a new nickname from the Italian media following his latest heroics for Napoli.
McTominay has been a revelation at Napoli since his move from Manchester United in the summer of 2024.
He inspired Napoli to Serie A glory in his debut season in Italy, bagging an impressive 12 league goals and winning the league's Most Valuable Player award in the process.
The 29-year-old is enjoying another stellar campaign as Napoli mount a charge to defend their Scudetto title.

They faced league leaders Inter Milan on Sunday in a huge fixture, with Antonio Conte's side leaving the San Siro with a hard-fought point thanks to a McTominay brace.
He cancelled out Federico Dimarco's opener before levelling once again after Hakan Calhanoglu had put Inter back in front from the spot.

McTominay produced a tidy finish in the closing stages of the game to nick a point against Inter.

Local outlet il Napolista sang the praises of McTominay after the result and in doing so, bestowed a new nickname.
They called him 'Scott McKing' - a clear reference to his king-like status in Naples following his stunning performances for the club.
He was named Man of the Match for his two-goal showing and called the best Napoli player by Football Italia, who hailed the Scotland international's performance against Inter, claiming he was 'literally everyone' on the pitch.

Speaking after the result, McTominay said: "I always thought we were in the game.
"The players are giving everything. No Anguissa, no Lukaku, no Gilmour, no De Bruyne, no Rrahmani at the start of the season, Neres injured, I mean it’s as if Inter Milan had no Lautaro Martinez, no Thuram, no Barella, no Calhanoglu.
"It’s difficult when we are pushing every single game like this, it’s an absolute credit to the players, because the manager and the staff have put everything in place for us to succeed and do well, fair play to the boys, because we’ve got no 'give up' here."
Napoli, who are fourth in the league, are four points behind Inter.

It's all very tight towards the top of the table, with Inter currently on 43 points, three points ahead of cross-city rivals AC Milan.
Juventus, Napoli and AS Roma are all tied on 39 points.
