A fan on TikTok claims Julian Alvarez 'liked' a video showing an edited image of the Atletico Madrid forward wearing a Barcelona shirt as speculation over his future continues to swirl.
Alvarez is keen to pursue a move away from Atletico in the remaining days of the window, although the Spanish club appear reluctant to let him join dream club Barcelona amid a public dispute.
Arsenal, meanwhile, are ready to make a move for the Argentine if they receive encouragement from either the striker or Atletico that a deal can be thrashed out, according to ESPN.
Alvarez, however, appears to be holding out for Barcelona. In fact, he 'liked' a TikTok clip in which he appeared wearing a Barcelona shirt.

A report from GOAL claims Alvarez can be seen in the clip using his trademark celebration, a reference to his dream of playing for the Catalan giants. To clarify, the image of him in the jersey has been edited.
Alvarez has publicly expressed his desire to leave Atletico this summer.
While on World Cup duty with Argentina in June, he confirmed his intentions. "I spoke with the people at [Atletico] I needed to speak with, and the best thing for everyone is a transfer. I want to fulfil my dream."
Alvarez added: "It's not the time to talk about this, but I also can't hide it. I try to be an honest person."
Arsenal should be encouraged by Atletico's stance over Julian Alvarez
Earlier this week, a report from Mundo Deportivo claimed those behind the scenes at Atletico have agreed to enter into transfer talks with Arsenal, who would be willing to pay in excess of £100 million.
Atletico, meanwhile, have slapped a new price tag on the striker after he was given a brutal reception by his own fans during Sunday's game against Villarreal.

So, how much are Atletico prepared to accept for Alvarez? Citing "club leadership sources", The Athletic claim they would consider offers of €150 million (£128 million) for the Argentina international.
The report added that a source close to Atleti's top brass said that the only way they could see Alvarez being sold is if Arsenal table an offer that meets the club's asking price.
Arsenal's interest in Alvarez is known, but there has been no bid from the Premier League champions and there is the feeling that they would be unwilling to offer the aforementioned fee.
Arsenal were in contact with both Atleti and Alvarez's camp last week regarding a deal, but it has been reported that he is not massively interested in a second spell in the Premier League.
As mentioned above, his dream is to sign for Barcelona.
