Everton look to have finally ended their takeover drama as the Friedkin Group have announced they have reached an agreement to buy Farhad Moshiri's 94% stake in the club.
After over a year of failed takeover after failed takeover, things look to finally be getting brighter at Everton as the club announced a deal has finally been struck with Dan Friedkin's group who also own AS Roma.
A spokesperson for The Friedkin Group said: "We are pleased to have reached an agreement to become custodians of this iconic football club. We are focused on securing the necessary approvals to complete the transaction. We look forward to providing stability to the club, and sharing our vision for its future, including the completion of the new Everton Stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock."

While this is overwhelmingly positive news for every Evertonian, it could be the worst-case scenario for Sean Dyche who now finds himself at the mercy of the Toffees' new owners.
According to Ben Jacobs, Dan Friedkin has identified former England Manager Gareth Southgate as a potential candidate to replace Dyche as Everton Manager if he is to be sacked.
Southgate left his role as England manager after eight years following their 2-1 defeat in the final of Euro 2024 to Spain.

The former England boss was heavily linked with a move to Manchester United with Sir Jim Ratcliffe reportedly a big fan of the 54-year-old, but Southgate has hinted his next role could be away from football.
After a fairly positive season in 23/24 where Everton managed to comfortably survive relegation despite being dealt two separate point deductions but it has been a disastrous start to the new campaign.
Dyche's side picked up their first point of the season away at Leicester on Saturday, but it was another case of dropped points after initially taking the lead through Iliman Ndiaye.

With the disappointment of their home cup exit to Southampton last week, Dyche will need to have a swift turnaround if he is to impress Friedkin once the takeover is officially completed.
