Sean Dyche has already been involved in an incident with Evangelos Marinakis prior to his appointment as Nottingham Forest boss.
Following the sacking of Ange Postecoglou on Saturday after just 39 days in the job, Dyche, a Forest youth player, has become the new manager of the East Midlands outfit after signing a contract until 2027.
Dyche has been joined by his regular assistants Ian Woan and Steve Stone, who both played for Forest, with the club stating that the former Everton and Burnley boss "has a deep understanding of the values and pride of Forest and its supporters".
The club also said that Forest's second managerial appointment this season gives them "the best opportunity for a successful and competitive season across both domestic and European competitions".

There is plenty of intrigue as to how the dynamic would work with Dyche and Marinakis, who is arguably the most fiery owner in the Premier League.
But there has already been a situation involving the two, back when Dyche was Burnley boss.
Burnley played Olympiacos, also owned by Marinakis, in the Europa League back in 2018 - losing 4-2 over two legs in the play-off round.

The Clarets lost 3-1 in a hostile first leg fixture in Piraeus, with Ben Gibson controversially shown a red card.
Not for the first time, Marinakis was accused of storming the room of referee Slavko Vincic at half-time of the clash following two penalties not being given - with a Daily Mail article reporting that he is said to have shouted at the official.
After the game, Dyche claimed that non-coaching staff confronted the referee at half-time when the score was at 1-1 as many packed into the tunnel area.
“I don’t know how many people ran on the pitch and surrounded the referee and linesman," Dyche said.

“The feel of the game changed in the second half, you’re left scratching your head.
“At half-time, there were plenty of people waiting for the ref in the tunnel.
“It wasn’t just the bench, it was people from the offices, even the tea lady! That’s a joke, of course, but it felt like everyone was piling on.”
Last year, after stadium footage was reviewed, Marinakis was issued with a five-game stadium ban after he was accused of spitting at the floor of the officials following a 1-0 loss to Fulham.

He claimed it was not intentional and had begun coughing after smoking cigars.
Dyche, meanwhile is now tasked with keeping Forest in the Premier League after a dismal run of form saw them drop to 18th.
The 54-year-old will get the opportunity to manage in Europe again, with his first game in charge coming in the Europa League against Porto on Thursday.
