The Ronaldo Nazario Compilation So Good That Even The Man Himself Watches It

Ronaldo Nazario loves watching himself terrorise opposition defenders in his pomp.

The one and only Ronaldo Nazario has admitted to regularly watching compilations of him destroying defenders in his pomp.

'O Fenomeno', a Ballon d'Or winner on two occasions, is widely considered to be one of the greatest players ever and was irresistible for the likes of PSV, Barcelona, Inter Milan, Real Madrid and the Brazilian national team.

His dribbling ability, combined with his eye for goal, made him a truly deadly striker and one that was a joy to watch.

The two-time World Cup winner was so good that you could sit for hours on end and marvel at his YouTube highlights. But it turns out that the man himself just does that.

In a new interview, 'R9' says there's one particular nutmeg montage that he loves watching to remind himself what a special footballer he was, even with the knee injuries he suffered.

"Oh yes, almost every week! I love to watch all of them," Ronaldo told Grant Wahl of Sports Illustrated when asked if he watches videos of himself.

"But there is one I love the most. Some guy made a video with me doing 256 caños"-nutmegs- in my career. I can't even remember that I did so many! I watch to watch that video."

The video in question is six minutes long and genuinely captures 256 different instances of Ronaldo putting the ball through an opponent's legs.

There's just over 12,000 views at the time of writing but it's unclear how many of them are Ronaldo's repeats.

By the age of 23, Ronaldo had become the most expensive player in world football on two occasions - with over 200 goals in his career.

A good chunk of his strikes saw him skilfully round the goalkeeper before slotting home - his composure and balance just too much for those between the sticks to handle when he was running through one-on-one.

Of course there's a compilation of all the times he rounded the goalkeeper and we're willing to bet that Ronaldo has laid eyes on that one too.
