Rodrygo has reportedly already made up his mind on which Premier League club he wants to join if he leaves Real Madrid this summer.

Ever since former Bayer Leverkusen manager Xabi Alonso replaced Carlo Ancelotti in the Real Madrid dugout, there have been major changes at the Spanish club.

Just days after he was officially unveiled as the new Real Madrid boss, Alonso oversaw the signings of three new key players, Liverpool star Trent Alexander-Arnold, Bournemouth defender Dean Huijsen and River Plate youngster Franco Mastantuono.

But incoming signings aren't the only changes that Alonso is making to his squad ahead of next season, as the Spaniard looks to ruthlessly cut some players from his squad.

One of those players could be winger Rodrygo, who is said to be growing increasingly frustrated at Madrid, leading to him singling out the one club he would like to join if he is to be sold this summer.

Throughout the ongoing Club World Cup, Rodrygo has found himself sidelined by Alonso in all but one of the matches, leading to rumours that he was considering asking to leave the club.

Since then, reports have suggested that the 24-year-old could join several Premier League sides, with Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea all linked.

All three clubs have been extremely active in the transfer window so far, with each of them reported to be considering several new attacking talents ahead of the start of the Premier League season next month.

However, according to Spanish outlet Diario AS, the Brazilian has made it clear that, if he is to be sold, he wants to choose his destination, and Arsenal is his ideal candidate.

The report claims that the Gunners are prepared to offer around €90million to secure his signature, viewing him as a perfect option to replace Gabriel Martinelli.

But with Arsenal expected to announce the signing of Chelsea's Noni Madueke in the coming days, it remains unclear if the Gunners' position on Rodrygo is as keen as previously.

And with Alonso refusing to expand further on his plans for the winger in the future, it is not impossible that he could yet stay at the club and fight for his place in the team.

Speaking after the 4-0 loss to PSG, Alonso adressed the rumours, saying: "There have been no decisions for the future. We haven't rotated too much in this Club World Cup and the context will be different in the future."
