Arsenal star Declan Rice appears to have revealed how he feels about the club's surprise signing of Chelsea's Noni Madueke.

Just days after confirming the signing of former Liverpool target Martin Zubimendi in a deal worth almost £60million, reports claimed that Arsenal were preparing to make their fourth move of the summer, this time for Madueke.

The 23-year-old England international is set to become the 10th player to join Arsenal from Chelsea, after fellow Blues teammate Kepa Arrizabalaga made the same move in a £5m deal earlier in this transfer window.

With reports suggesting that Madueke is set to cost Arsenal around just over £50m, the news has been met with some resistance from fans, with some going as to sign a petition against the signing of the forward.

And now, it appears that one of Madueke's future Arsenal teammates has spoken out to give his opinion on the move.

As always, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has been closely following the situation surrounding Madueke's potential London move, providing regular updates across his social media platforms.

With the expected 'Here We Go' post coming on Thursday morning, it appears to be only a matter of time before Arsenal themselves speak out to confirm the move, and it appears that Rice is happy about it.

In both Romano's initial Here We Go instagram post and his follow up video giving details about the £50m+ transfer, Rice can be seen amongst the accounts to have liked the posts, suggesting that he has been eagerly following the situation and is excited about the news.

Rice's eagerness surrounding the move comes as no surprise given the fact that he has already shared the pitch with Madueke on a number of occasions while representing England.

Across their international careers, Madueke and Rice have played together in five matches, all of them coming in the 2024/25 season across the Nations League and World Cup qualifying matches.

During these matches, the two men have shared posts on social media hanging out together, while Rice also commented on Madueke's post after the match against Andorra, praising the winger.

Meanwhile, as opponents the pair have shared the pitch on four occasions, with three of the four ending as draws and the other being a 5-0 win for the Gunners in the 2023/24 Premier League season.
