A leaked image from Arsenal's training ground has shown a top transfer target arriving ahead of a potential move.
Months after reports first suggested that he was set to join the Gunners, former Liverpool target Martin Zubimendi was confirmed as Arsenal's latest signing on Sunday evening.
The Spanish midfielder joins from La Liga club Real Sociedad, signing a a five-year contract after Arsenal paid the £51million release clause included in his contract.
Zubimendi marks Arsenal's second signing of the summer, following former Chelsea keeper Kepa Arrizabalaga, with many other big names expected to come ahead of the start of the Premier League season.

And it appears one of the other big names that has been heavily linked with Mikel Arteta's side may be days away from having a deal confirmed, after a leaked image showed him arriving at Arsenal's training ground.
Following the departures of both Jorginho and Thomas Partey, who left following the expiration of their contracts, it is clear that Arsenal need to sign midfielders this summer.
While Zubimendi will certainly come in as a major player in Arteta's midfield, recent rumours have also suggested that Arsenal have agreed a deal for Brentford captain Christian Norgaard.

Although the club itself is yet to announce the transfer, it appears that it may now be done, as one fan took to social media to share a photo of the Danish international arriving at Arsenal's training ground, the Sobha Realty Training Centre.
The photo shows Norgaard arriving at the training ground on Tuesday afternoon alongside Arsenal sporting director Andrea Berta.
According to a recent report from The Athletic, Arsenal will pay an initial fee of £10m fee for Norgaard with a further £2m in additional payments.

The 31-year-old is said to have already undergone a medical ahead of the move, which is expected to be announced in the coming days.
Norgaard joined Brentford in 2019 and made 196 appearances as he helped the club secure promotion to the Premier League in 2021.
Last season alone, he made 34 appearances in the English top flight, scoring five goals, the most he's ever achieved in one season.
