Sergio Ramos put himself on par with Lionel Messi last night by becoming only the second player to score in 15 successive La Liga seasons.
Los Blancos came from behind to win 4-1 away at Girona last night, with captain Ramos equalising from the spot with a gorgeous 'Panenka' penalty just after half-time.
It seems that @SergioRamos has taken on the role of penalty taker since the departure of you know who. Real Madrid equalise, with five minutes to half time. #LaLiga #GIRRMA #PURESPORT pic.twitter.com/OeAwLletFS

It was the central defender's 51st La Liga and sees him tie Messi in finding the net in 15 seasons on the trot. He scored his first La Liga goal for Sevilla in 2004/05 and has notched for Real in every league campaign since then - notably bagging some very important goals in the process.
Only Messi and Sergio Ramos have scored in 14 consecutive La Liga seasons :soccer::white_check_mark:

Not too bad for a centre-back, is it? What's even more impressive is that he's currently the 13th highest scorer in La Liga if you only include active players.
Messi, now Barcelona captain following the departure of Andres Iniesta, achieved the feat a week before Ramos after scoring a brace against Deportivo Alaves.
