Like father, like son.

Romeo Beckham has clearly picked up a lesson or two from his dad after he replicated that iconic goal against Greece at Old Trafford to qualify for the 2002 World Cup.

The 18-year-old, a singer and Burberry model, showcased his football talent on Instagram this week when he curled one into the top corner using a technique similar to David's.

Romeo composes himself, places his left foot forward [like his dad always did] and delivers the goods with a cracking strike. Remind you of anyone?

They say practice makes perfect and David Beckham is definitely concrete evidence of that.

Becks was renowned as one of the very best from set-piece situations and he didn't become the dead-ball expert overnight, or by fluke.

There's plenty of stories on how he would spend time after training sessions taking free-kicks and striving for improvement in order to see results on the pitch.

And a clip of the former Manchester United midfielder doing just that back in 2001 ahead of that Greece free-kick is proof of his incredible dedication to his craft.

As you can see in the above footage, Beckham tries his luck from a range of angles and distances, with each effort serving as a different stage in finally reaching perfection.

All that practice would pay dividends in the big game a day later as deep into stoppage time, he netted in style.

It's still one of the greatest moments in football history, for sure.
