Aston Villa could be 'blocked' from signing three more Chelsea targets after Alejandro Garnacho deal
Aston Villa are reportedly set to target three more Chelsea players once they complete the signing of Alejandro Garnacho - but may struggle to get the deals over the line.
Garnacho is set to join Villa on an initial loan deal with a conditional obligation to buy at the end of the season.
According to reports, the terms of that conditional obligation are believed to be 'easily achievable', and though the exact transfer fee has not been published, Chelsea are expected to receive close to their £43 million valuation.
Villa will be Garnacho's third club in 12 months after he left Manchester United to join Chelsea in the last summer transfer window.

It is reported that Villa manager Unai Emery was keen on bringing the Argentinian winger to the club and has green-lit the deal.
Garnacho will now hope to get his career back on track, with the 22-year-old having missed out on Argentina's World Cup squad. He hasn't played for his country since 2024.
The deal between the two clubs has come under scrutiny due to Chelsea's £117 million signing of Morgan Rogers from Villa, which was announced on Tuesday.
Under their transfer regulations, a swap deal is defined as multiple deals between two clubs going in both directions within a 45-day period.
UEFA scrutinise any deal deemed as a swap deal to ensure transfer fees have not been inflated, with clubs facing a punishment - essentially, in Villa's case, a reduction in the amount of 'profit' they record from the Rogers sale in terms of UEFA's calculations - if any wrongdoing is found.
Regulators will need to assess whether Garnacho's loan with a conditional option to buy is deemed as a swap deal or not.
According to The Athletic, Villa would be required to reduce the Rogers profit 'to the difference between the net cash received for him and the amount paid to Chelsea' for one of their players if a swap deal is determined to have taken place.
The West Midlands club therefore may have to carefully consider any future dealings with Chelsea, beyond the Garnacho deal, this summer.
Notably, however, TEAMtalk report that Villa's interest in Chelsea players has not ended there - though they would have to again prove themselves when it comes to UEFA regulations or potentially face a similar issue again.
Villa target unwanted Chelsea trio
They are said to be interested in signing the unwanted trio of Benoit Badiashile, Axel Disasi and Nicolas Jackson this summer.
Jackson spent the campaign on loan at Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich as understudy to Harry Kane.
He scored 11 goals in 34 appearances for Vincent Kompany's side, and has now returned to Chelsea for pre-season.
Jackson is said to be valued at £65 million by Chelsea, but it is hard to envisage the Blues receiving that valuation.
It was reported earlier this month that the Blues were contemplating selling either Jackson, Liam Delap or new arrival Emmanuel Emegha.
The London Evening Standard claim that Jackson is open to a reunion with Emery, with the pair having worked together at La Liga side Villarreal.
But no club-to-club talks are said to have taken place over the Senegal international striker at this stage. Jackson has been on holiday following his participation at the World Cup but will be part of Chelsea's pre-season programme if he remains at the club.
Centre-back Disasi is no stranger to Villa or Emery, having spent the second half of the 2024/25 season on loan at Villa Park.
He spent the second half of last season on loan at West Ham, where he made 14 appearances but couldn't help the Hammers avoid relegation from the Premier League.
Badiashile made just eight Premier League appearances for the Blues last season and appears to be surplus to requirements.
