In one of the most iconic internet moments of 2021 so far, West Ham and England midfielder Declan Rice belted out his own version of Vanilla Ice classic 'Ice Ice Baby' on Twitter's new Spaces feature.

Rice decided to take part in the popular Sing Your Dialect event, hosted by Jacob McLaughlin; the 18-year-old who has picked up over 90,000 followers since the impromptu karaoke-style contest went global on Monday night.

The beauty of Sing Your Dialect is that anyone can join, meaning that one of the Premier League's finest nailed his song while the likes of John McGinn, Jude Bellingham and thousands of others tuned in. This is incredible.

Since Monday's event, when around 150,000 people tuned in across the night, Sing Your Dialect has become a viral hit. "I see it as a celeb versus the people karaoke radio show," Jacob told BBC. "Basically I united the nation."

Former US president Barack Obama was spotted listening to randomers belt out their favourite songs at one point, as was Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba, Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale and YouTube star KSI.

For many though, Rice's wonderful rendition of 'Rice, Rice, Baby' was the best moment of the week so far.

Jacob's decision to create the Twitter space has certainly picked up plenty of attention. LADbible spoke to the teenager, who reportedly lost his job as a kitchen fitter two weeks ago, earlier this week and it made for great viewing. You can see the clip below.

What do you reckon to Declan Rice's ability on the mic?
